How boring that’d be of Him, what a tragic loss of moments to discover, search & find God that would be if we never walked though the unknown, and what minimal glory He would get if everyone followed a “script” for love.

Rather than celebrating success for other merely just to celebrate the work God does through His broken people, how quickly does that turn around to, “Gosh, they must be more valuable. God must favor them more than me.” Anyone else?

Sometimes I just need God’s word. Not advice, not some fleeting inspiration, not more knowledge, not a story “similar” to mine, not your devotion of the day, and podcast sure do have a lot of words. Just give me Jesus.
